New Album In the Can!

In the fall of 2012, Andy moved back to Los Angeles from the East Coast on sabbatical to complete his doctoral research. By a "simple twist of fate," the original members of Andy and the Rattlesnakes  took up where they left off — writing, recording and performing for the first time since going their own ways in December 1981. Over the past seven years, they have been adding tracks and are almost finished mixing and mastering a new album containing eight new original songs and one of their signature covers, a spooky version of Charlie Rich's classic Midnight Blues. Since then, the band's original 1981 lineup have reunited for two L.A. shows at the Bootleg Theatre: The Tribute to Sam Shepard in October 2017 and the Radio Free Hollywood Family Reunion in November 2018. The new album and video concert footage will be available sometime soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the video of the band's new single: Last Summer to Dance.
